Well, it's official! HorrorMovieBBQ.com is now live. Ok, may not need to cause a celebration, but it's something I've always wanted to do. I guess I'm now an official slave to blogging. I'm guessing that's a good thing. Or bad. I don't know. This is just the first step of me taking blogging a little bit more seriously. I have a lot of love for blogging as a whole and enjoy doing it. Oh sure, 4 years later and I've barely reached 100 posts, but I still love this. Whether it's about Eric Freeman, a trip to the flea market or a coloring book I found at the dollar store, I have a lot of fun with this. And that's really the reason I do it. Of course my goal has always been to do more than two entries a month, so hopefully this is the proper motivation to do just that.
.I've always enjoyed writing and it's always been my favorite creative outlet so why not put a little bit more effort into it? Like I said, having an official domain name will help that motivation. Plus it sounds better than the severely outdated "vampiresdontwearglitter.blogspot.com" which I was always looking to change.
This is also my first step into hopefully doing other things that I really want to branch out and do. Hopefully, podcasting, maybe a YouTube video, more professional pictures for my entries, and maybe some more projects with other bloggers to pitch in. I always enjoy doing projects with others, and Figures Cinema Forgot was a fun project, even though it was sidelined by personal issues that were going on at that time. I would love to start doing more of those. Podcasts are something I enjoy immensely and since doing the Silent Night Deadly Night 2 commentary with Dead Air, I'm really wanting to do more. And a Youtube video? Well, let's give that a try first.
So there you have it. Just a little update. Nothing too spectacular. Just a guy who loves blogging and wants to take it to the next level. No photos or goofy links.
Well, there's always a picture of my bunnies Charlie and Penelope. I guess it's been a while since they've made an appearance...
That works, wouldn't you say?
